I was involved in a near fatal car accident at the end of 2019 where I broke both my legs, my left collarbone and was lucky to survive. I spent 32 months with 2 different ilizarov frames spanning my full right leg. My right leg unfortunately was not strong enough and re-broke in August 2022 resulting in me deciding to have my leg amputated above the knee. I was told prior to my surgery I would probably never mobilise outside of a wheelchair. Yet here I am, got a prosthetic and adapting to the life I had started to accept might never be possible.
Coming to terms with, and accepting disability through my journey has not been easy, but I am so thankful to still be here and truly happy in myself. I hope that sharing my experiences along with others will bring some light and positivity to those who need it.

- Wedge Pillow: Perfect for sitting in bed and if you struggle to sleep flat on your back
- Gauze Swabs: Get your swabs on prescription but Prime came in handy the weeks I realised I had left it too long!
- Sheewee: one of the nurses told me to get one, great when youre out and about
- Feet Masks: I found my feet got very neglected with the frame on but these were great
- Foot File: Again great for looking after my feet and electric so not too much strain!
